SENDCo - Senior Leadership
We are looking to recruit an experienced and qualified SENDCo to join our Yellow House School team.
The role of SENDCo will involve the SEND co-ordination of our cohort of pupils through Years 9-12, and will form part of our Leadership Team with line management responsibility. The SENDCo will support the continuing development of the school vision and ethos including the effective delivery of aspects of the School Development Plan.
This is a real opportunity for a forward thinking, strongly motivated and inspired practitioner. They will ensure high quality teaching and intervention, effective use of resources and maintain high standards of care, learning and achievement for all pupils and their families.
The Yellow House School is split across 2 school sites: Sible Hedingham, Essex and Clare, Suffolk. Having a full driving licence and access to a car is essential as we do sometimes move between the sites during the working day. Both sites cater exclusively for pupils who have an EHCP and a primary need of social, emotional, mental health. This role will support pupils educated at The Yellow House and will work in conjunction with our therapeutic staff team. The role will also include assessing and meeting potential new pupils through local authority referrals.
