Welcome to The Yellow House School, where we are dedicated to providing specialist therapeutic education for children with Autism, Anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Selective Mutism alongside Dyslexia and other SpLDs. Our school offers a safe, supportive, and understanding environment where each child’s unique needs are recognized and met with bespoke expert care.

By focusing on each pupil’s strengths and assessing any gaps, we provide bespoke individualized support to help each child grow and succeed in ways that are meaningful and fulfilling to them and their families.
Specialist Therapeutic Education
We combine academic learning with a comprehensive support system, specifically designed to meet the emotional and psychological needs of our students. Our compassionate and experienced team, including our teachers and support staff as well as therapists and external agencies, work collaboratively to develop personalized learning plans. - Anxiety: A calm, low-stress atmosphere and therapeutic strategies that help students manage anxiety, build confidence, and develop resilience.
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD): Individualized techniques to enhance focus, organization, and self-regulation, empowering students to meet their academic goals.
- Selective Mutism: A gentle, supportive approach that encourages communication in a way that feels safe, helping students find their voice at their own pace using the Stepping In programme.
