Mersea Island Whole School Trip 2026

Our whole school visit to Essex Outdoors on Mersea Island reminded us that the best memories often come from the unexpected. Mersea obviously didn’t get the June weather memo — it rained non-stop!

The children however, (and a few heroic staff members) powered through every obstacle like pros. Mud, rain and puddles only made the adventure better for some!

After packed lunches and some very welcome milky hot chocolate, we headed home tired, soggy and smiling!
